Geraldine M. Bailey, 86, formerly of New Kensington, PA, went to be with her beloved husband of 52 years, Maynard, on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at The Bridges in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Geraldine was born on Wednesday, November 6, 1929 in New Kensington to the late Andrew and Hazel (Kemp) Schultz.  She was a 1947 graduate of Plum High School.  Prior to moving, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church, New Kensington.  Geraldine dedicated her time to raising her family and enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.      

She is survived by her 3 children: Dennis (Daphine) Bailey of Middletown, PA; Linda (Jeff) Culler of Farmington, NM; and Randy (Laurel) Bailey of Enola, PA; 6 grandchildren: Kevin (Katie) Bailey, Lindsay Patterson (Calvin Romero), Karen (Christopher) Carey, Jordan Patterson (Colleen Eke), Kaitlyn (Brian) Pell, and Nathan Bailey; 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard D. Bailey on January 7, 2003 and her 5 siblings: Andrew Schultz, Frances Protzeck, Grace Black, Dorothy Kirkpatrick, and William Schultz.   

Family and friends are invited from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, May 27, 2016 and 10 AM to noon on Saturday, May 28, 2016 to the CHURCHFIELD-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 501 Fifth Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15058 (724-335-1951) where a funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, with the Pastor Brian Pell officiating.
