If you have lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, and you feel there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel, the GriefShare support group is a nondenominational program that features biblical concepts for healing from your grief.

GriefShare groups meet weekly, for 13-week cycles, and help you face the confusion, isolation, and challenges that come with a loss while also answering your questions and helping you move toward rebuilding your life.  Each week is a different seminar topic and you can join at any point; attendance does not have to be sequential.  Contact 724-524-1913 or visit http://www.griefshare.org/ for more information.   There is a $20.00 registration fee.

Meets Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 pm at Christ Our Hope Anglican Church, 926 Painter Avenue, Natrona Heights, PA 15065.  Childcare available if needed, please call the number listed.

As a true community partner, the VNA provides free counseling services and support groups to adults, teens, children and family caregivers following the loss of a loved one.  Their support groups are fit for any individual in any stage of the grieving process and whom have experienced any type of loss.

Meets once a week for 4 weeks at either the Butler Faith Fellowship Church , 200 Faith Way, Fared Drive, Butler, PA 16001 or theACMH Hospital, One Nolte Drive, Kittanning, PA 16201.  Contact 724-431-3250 for information on when the 4 week sessions are.  Private sessions are also available.
