Warren H. Mansfield, 88, of Brackenridge, PA, died on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Platinum Ridge Center, Brackenridge, PA.

Warren was born on December 24, 1925 in Brackenridge, PA to the late Jacob W. and Caroline Lockwood Mansfield.  He has lived in Brackenridge all of his life. He was a graduate of Har-Brack High School class of 1943.  He was a veteran serving in the Army during WW II for 2 years.  He graduated from Grove City College in 1950.  He retired from the tax department at Mellon Bank, Pittsburgh in 1984. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Tarentum where he has attended for over 80 years.  Warren was a 66 year member of and very active in the Masonic Lodge of Tarentum and was a member of the Syria Temple of Pittsburgh.   He was active In the Allegheny Valley YMCA Men’s Club, the Alle-Kiski Historical Society of Tarentum, the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches of Natrona Heights, the Highlands Area Rotary Club of Natrona Heights and the Tarentum VFW and the Brackenridge American Legion and was a past member of the Brackenridge Heights Country Club.

Warren is survived by his brothers: Kenneth Mansfield of Northbrook, IL and Robert Mansfield of Columbia, SC. He also leaves his niece: Tami Olsen and family and a nephew: Jonathan Mansfield both of Northbrook, IL; a nephew: Mark Mansfield and family of Columbia, SC and a nephew: Robert Mansfield and family of Aptos, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends are invited from 6:00 - 7:00 PM  on Thursday, April 10, 2014 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA  15065. Everyone is invited to a memorial service at the First Presbyterian Church, 913 Lock Street, Tarentum, PA  15084 for a Celebration of Life, on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Philip A. Beck, officiating.  Private burial will be held at Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.  The Masonic Lodge of Tarentum will meet at the funeral home at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 10.  Arrangements are under the care of the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730).
