Mitchell, 88, of Plum Borough, PA, died on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights.Mrs. Mitchell was born on May 4, 1922 in New Kensington, PA to the late David E. and Annie Myers Duncan. She retired as an inspector from US Gypsum of Oakmont, PA after 27 years of service. She attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of New Kensington. She is survived by her children: Virginia Rue Blubaugh of Las Vegas, NV and Becky Cook of Tampa, FL; 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; her brother and sister: Gladys Duncan of Plum Borough and Miles R. Duncan of Penn Hills. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Ernest Mitchell (June 28, 1979); her grandson: Gary Lee Blubaugh; and her brothers and sister: Walter, Harry, Arthur, David and Bertha Duncan.Family and friends are invited from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Sunday in the CHURCHFIELD-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 501 Fifth Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15068 (724-335-1951), where services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, with the Reverend George W.
