Victor W. Colen, 91, of Natrona Heights. PA, died on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Allegheny Valley Hospital. Victor was born on Sunday, October 5, 1930 in Freeport, PA to the late Albert and Mary Stanik Colen. Victor was a corporal in the Army during the Korean War. He was a coal miner at Penn Allegheny Coal Mine retiring in 1992 after 29 years of service. He was also self-employed at the family owned mine from 1954-1963. He was a life member at the Freeport VFW and a member of the Brackenridge American Legion. Victor enjoyed family camping in Tionesta. Our father was loved and cherished by his children. He brought so much love and laughter to our lives. Your love was pure and sincere. We will miss you dad, your family will love you endlessly. Victor is survived by his children: Victor D. (Sandy) Colen of Natrona Heights, Marilyn (Jim) Shaw of Cabot, PA, Leona (Timothy) Crisman of Butler, PA and Sandra Wiley of Brackenridge, PA; he is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Anna Selfridge.
