Verna M. Crouseof Natrona Heights, PAVerna M. Crouse, 89, of Natrona Heights, PA, died on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at UPMC-St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh.Mrs. Crouse was born on October 23, 1921 in Swissvale, PA to the late Howard and Georgia Phillips Crawford. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Natrona Heights and she enjoyed needlework, crocheting and quilting.She is survived by her children: Karen (John) Nold of Dover, DE and Georgia (Frank) Quigley of Allison Park, PA also 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and 5 nephews and 4 nieces.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Edward Crouse (Aug. 10, 1976); her son: Edward D. Crouse; 2 brothers: Howard and Clarence Crawford and 2 sisters: Dorothy Crawford and Nancy Wilbur. Family and friends are invited from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday and from 2:00 to the time of service at 3:00 PM on Tuesday to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730), with the Barbara Ravenstahl, officiating.
