Verna B. Bussard

Verna B. Bussard, 89, died on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Highland Center, Brackenridge, PA.

Verna was born on September 1, 1924 in Clear Spring, MD to the late Grover C. and Fannie E. McFadden Mann.  She enjoyed traveling, embroidery and crocheting.

She is survived by her children: Albert L. Jordan of Florida and Louise V. Jordan of Maryland; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Violet G. Rice of Maryland and Martha B. (Nick) Kilmon of Delaware.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: Francis E. Jordan (1958); her second husband: Clinton R. Bussard (2005); a daughter: Martha M. Burd; a brother: Earl Mann; and 2 sisters: Catherine Wade and Ruth M. Foley.

Family and friends are invited from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM on Thursday, December 12, at the CHURCHFIELD-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 501 Fifth Avenue, New Kensington, PA  15068 (724-335-1951), where services will held at 11 AM on Friday with the Reverend Mike Trenga, officiating.
