Twila M. (Smith) Settlemyer

Twila M. Smith Settlemyer, 91, formerly of Sarver, PA died on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, PA.

Twila was born on Friday, February 12, 1926 in Natrona Heights to the late William G. and Ida Brashear Smith. Twila worked at Campton Bruckner Store and Birdville Highland Theater before she was married and became a homemaker.  Twila enjoyed traveling with her husband, Harry. 

Twila is survived by her brother, James D. Smith of Slate Lick, her adopted “sister,” Karen Janoski of Sarver, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Settlemyer, on January 25, 2009 and her brother, Harold E. “Bud” Smith.

Family and friends are invited from 6-8 PM on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730) where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 27, 2018 with Rev. Mark Davis of Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Private burial will follow at Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights, PA.
