Mrs. Stefania S. 'Steffie' Kolekof Natrona Heights, PAStefania S. 'Steffie' Kolek, 87, of Natrona Heights, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Concordia Lutheran Home, Jefferson Township.Steffie was born on August 12, 1924 in Blairsville, PA to the late Matus and Barbara Barcak Rovnanik. She worked at Chesaro's in Brackenridge for 15 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish-Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. She was a member of the Christian Mother's and sang in the choir both at St. Joseph Parish. She enjoyed ceramics, cooking and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.She is survived by her children: Claudia (Bernard) DiNardo of North East, PA, Lorraine Kolek of Natrona Heights, PA and Martin J. (Adrienne) Kolek of Brackenridge, PA; 2 grandchildren: Dominic DiNardo and his fiancé: Melissa Sullivan of Colorado Springs, CO and Emily Kolek; and a brother: Stephen T. (Marian) Rovnanik of Brackenridge. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Joseph A. Kolek (November 26, 2002); 3 brothers: Joseph, Paul and Frank Rovnanik and a sister: Mary R. Znosko. Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730) where a parting prayer service will be at 9:30 AM on Monday. A Christian funeral mass will follow at 10:00 AM at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 800 Montana Avenue, Natrona Heights, PA 15065, with the Reverend William P. Siple, officiating.
