Shirley Joanne Brinkerof Natrona Heights, PAShirley Joanne Brinker, 79, of Natrona Heights, PA, died on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Fair Winds Manor, Sarver, PA.Mrs. Brinker was born on May 29, 1931 in Saxonburg, PA to the late Fred and Grace Shroth Neubert. She was a retired Registered Nurse at Allegheny Valley Hospital where she also served at the Student Health Director at the Allegheny Valley Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Natrona Heights. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bowling and especially spending time with her grandchildren.She is survived by her husband of 58 years: Sheldon R. Brinker; her children: Cathy (Kevin) Svitek of Tarentum, PA and Rodney (Kelly) Brinker of Irwin, PA; 3 grandchildren: Shannon, Ashley and Kyle and 1 brother: Donald (Sylvia) Neubert of Saxonburg, PA.She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother: Fred Neubert. Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Sunday to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730), where services will be at 11AM on Monday, with the Reverend Justin Judy, officiating.
