Russell C. 'Runz' Shieldsof Natrona, PARussell C. 'Runz' Shields, 55, of Natrona, PA, died on Monday, November 15, 2010 at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center of Natrona Heights.Mr. Shields was born on June 14, 1955 in Natrona Heights, PA to Bernice M. Lammay Shields of Natrona and the late Raymond D. Shields. He attended Highlands High School. He enjoyed riding his bike, collecting, helping his neighbors and especially spending time with his mother and his companion Ruby.He is survived by his mother; his sister: Kimberly (Daniel) Brown of Natrona; his nephew: Jayson Brown and his fiancé: Nicole Rummel; his great nephew: Isiacc Lucas Brown; and his companion: Ruby Willison of Natrona.He was preceded in death by his father. Family and friends are invited from 7-9 Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730), where service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday.
