Robert C. Lynch, 73, of Natrona Heights, Harrison Twp. passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 at his home.
He was born May 30, 1940 to the Late Ralph H. and Hilda M. (Porter) Lynch, and resided in Harrison Twp all of his life. Bob graduated from Har-Brack High School class of 1958. He was a veteran serving in the U. S. Army. Bob retired from the Harrison Township Police Department. He was well know and often referred to as the “Mayor” of the Birdville section of Harrison Twp.
He was a Life Member of Citizens Hose Company, Natrona Heights and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Bob enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions and spending his winters in Florida.
Bob is survived by two brothers, Ralph H. Jr. (Betty) Lynch of Florida, William C. (Nancy) Lynch of New Hampshire, his sister, Mary Ann (Kenneth) Painter of South Buffalo Twp., his uncle, Clark Porter and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents mentioned above, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lewis R. Lynch.
At the family’s request, there will be no public visitation. A Time of Remembering will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Citizens Hose, Burtner Road, Natrona Heights. All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, 724.224.7730 .
