Robert J. LoughlinOf West Deer Township, PARobert J. Loughlin, 88, of West Deer Township, PA, died on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at the Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.Mr. Loughlin was born on Thursday, March1, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Robert A. and Gertrude R. Jeffers Loughlin. He was veteran serving in the Navy during WW II. He was a truck driver for 45 years for the Crest Box Co, St. Regis Paper Co. and retired from Georgia Pacific Paper Co. all of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the local teamsters union. He is survived by his children: Jamie P. Loughlin of Long Beach, CA, Daniel T. (Gerri Lee) Loughlin of West Deer Township and Heather (Albert) Gohn of Tarentum and Ruth Ann 'Pippy' (Ronald) Kerr; 6 grandchildren: Cody and Daniel Gohn and Judy, Ronnie, Lori and Scott Kerr; a brother: Lawrence (Lily) Loughlin of Chico, CA; 6 sisters: Agnes Loughlin of Spotsylvania, VA, Martha Taylor of Richmond, VA, Geraldine (Frank) Truesdale of Fredericksburg, VA, Gertrude Loughlin of New Kensington, PA, Gloria J. Loughlin of Pitcairn, PA and Kathleen (Ron) Bussard of Plum Boro., PA. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Janet L. Kelley Loughlin (2000); 2 sisters: Libby Kichta and Elizabeth Loughlin; and 3 brothers: William, Earl and David Loughlin.Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday in the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730) where services will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 PM.
