Richard A Sober, 63 of Fawn Township, PA, died on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. Born July 27, 1957, in Natrona Heights to the late Jack W. and Dorothy J. Burton Sober, he has lived there all his life. He worked most of his adult life as a machinist for several companies (Contraves Goerz Corp in RIDC Park, Loumac, Gentile Manufacturing Co, PCC Composites, and Stanton Optical).  He loved to ride his Harley Davidson, once was the President of the Alle-Kiski H.O.G Chapter #4615, to be outdoors seeing nature spending time with his best little buddy (Dane). He was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church, Tarentum.  He is survived by three brothers, Jack W Sober, Jr. of Pace, FL, Daniel B Sober of Tarentum PA, Charles A Sober of Kittanning, PA, nieces and nephews, Tara (Sober) Joslyn, Christa (Sober) Reichhardt, Erica Sober, Heidi L (Clark) Wallace and her son Dane Wallace, David C Sober, Jr., Mathew A Sober, Melanie J (Sober) Robinson, Andrew W Sober, Dylan Sober, Brian Smith, Lacey Bargerstock, Nathan Bargerstock, Stephanie Stivason, and Chase Sober.  Sister-in-laws, Lea Sober of Pace, FL, Dolores Sober of Dryden, NY, Mary Lou Sober of Tarentum, PA, Evelyn Sober of Kittanning, PA.  And a special lifelong friend Allen Smith, of Tarentum, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister: Deborah L (Sober) Clark, of Natrona Heights, PA, his brother: David C Sober, of Dryden, NY and his nephew: Brian K Clark of Natrona Heights, PA.

Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2021 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730) where a funeral service will be held on Friday, January 15 at 11:00 AM with Rev.
