Phyllis Jean Gidesof Fawn Township, PAPhyllis Jean Gides, 79, of Fawn Township, PA, died on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.Phyllis was born on November 20, 1932 in Tarentum, PA to the late Ewing Floyd and Jean Breck Mason. She was graduate of Tarentum High School class of 1951. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, Natrona Heights. She was a past member of the Fawn #1 Fire Hall Ladies Auxiliary, she enjoyed her family, her pets, gardening and she gave the best hugs.She is survived by her children: Lvonne Gides and Lynece (Douglas) Cain both of Fawn Township; 5 grandchildren: Tomdee Simpson, Lehua Simpson Pagett, Mason, Miles and Morgan Cain; her sister in law: Rosemary Sandy Buczkowski and her dog: Bailey.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Charles W. Gides (March 24, 1995); and an infant sister: Dorothy MasonFamily and friends are invited from 3-7 PM on Monday to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730), where a service will held at 7 PM Monday.
