PAUL T. MANKE, SR.
OF NATRONA HEIGHTS, PA
Paul T. Manke, Sr., 67, of Natrona Heights PA is now free from pain after a 4 year battle with cancer, passing away in the home he loved with the love and prayers of his family.
He is retired military; 8 years with the Navy, 1 year National Guard and then retiring from the Army Reserve.  He worked over 25 years with Protection Services,   a subsidiary of New Enterprise of Harrisburg.  He was a member of American Legion Post 683 and the United Presbyterian Church of Freeport.
He is survived by his wife Annie of 44 years, son Paul T Manke Jr (Tammy), grandchildren Megan, Jenna, Logan and Cameron.  Also survived by his sister Donel Manke, West Chester PA.
Paul enjoyed fishing, racing, Facebook and Instagram where he was able to keep in touch with friends and family.  His greatest love was his family, and was so very proud of his son Paul in all that he has done and accomplished and the wonderful care, support and love he gave his father throughout his battle with cancer.   His greatest love was his grandchildren attending as many of their sporting events as possible; soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, track and last but definitely not least football.  
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Manke and mother, Elizabeth Enterline Manke.
Family and friends are invited to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730) on Friday, Sept 5, from 11:30 to 1:00 with a service to follow at the funeral home from 1:00 to 1:30, with Pastor David Murphy of Mt Zion Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Military honors will be given by the American Legion,  Lauter Falkner Post # 683.  Following the service there will be a luncheon at the Anchor Inn, Freeport Road, Natrona Heights.  In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations made to the American Legion, Post 683 PO Box 211, Saxonburg PA 16056 or ACMH Foundation, Cancer Center Fund, 1 Nolte Drive, Kittanning Pa 16201.
