Neil Mark Tomerof Tarentum, PA· Passed away in the presence of family on Thursday, September 30,2010 at his home in Tarentum.· Neil was born 5/9/1940 in New Kensington, PA to the Late Neil C. and Artence Olivo Tomer. "Tiny' graduated from Tarentum High School and later attended Clemson University on a football scholarship. He worked many years for Westinghouse in Cheswick, and then took over his father's construction-dismantling business in Pittsburgh until he retired on disability. Neil was a past Grand Master of the Tarentum Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed reading, singing, motorcycles, and long discussions with his many friends.· He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Gregory Scott Tomer. Neil is survived by sons David and Jeff (Cindy), daughter Kelly Jo (all of New England), brother Raymond (Charlotte Jackson) of Shaler, brother Herman (Barbara Corsi) of Harrison, eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.· At his request, funeral arrangements were private and handled by the Peters Funeral Home, 1521 Freeport Road,Natrona Heights, PA 15065. The family suggests donations in Neil's name to the Harrison Township Library.
