Nancy Louise Kostek Painter, 77, of New Kensington, died on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at UPMC-Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Nancy Louise was born on April 13, 1937 in New Kensington, PA to the late Louis and Florence E. Lamont Mason. She worked as a department head at the Hills Department Store in Fox Chapel. She enjoyed music, flowers and especially being around her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Kelly R. (Kenneth) Siess of New Kensington, Deborah I. Funa of New Kensington, Kathleen A. Vidra of Denver, CO, John M. “Mitch” (Kelly) Kostek of Vandergrift and Michael (Louise) Scott of South Carolina.; 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; and a sister: Barbara (Jim) Gasperini of Export, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: Alex Kostek; her second husband: William P. Painter and 1 sister: Joanne McLaughlin.
Family and friends are invited from 3-6 PM on Wednesday, August 20 to the PARNASSUS HIGH RISE, 325 Main Street, New Kensington, PA 15068 for a celebration of life for Nancy Louise.
