Meredith W. Johnston, Jr., 83, of Harrison Township, PA, died Monday, December 7, 2015 at his residence in Natrona Heights.

Meredith was born on Wednesday, August 3, 1932 in St. Louis, MO to the late Meredith W. and Margaret E. (Reinhart) Johnston, Sr.  He lived in this vicinity for 20 years, prior to that he lived in Sarver, PA for 31 years.  He was a laborer at Allegheny Ludlum for 30 years before retiring in 1997.  He served in the US Army, was of Presbyterian faith, and loved sports, especially football. 

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha J. (Acre) Johnston; his daughter, Laurel L. Zaboski; 3 grandchildren: Austin Remper, Mackenzie Remper, and Sydney Zaboski; and his best buddy, Duke.
