May (Stark) Ringer, 97, of West Deer Township, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024 surrounded by her family.  May was born on Monday, August 23, 1926 in Tarentum, PA to the late Jess and Bertha Anderson Stark.  May was a member of the Pleasant Unity Presbyterian Church of West Deer Twp. for over 50 years and she also attended the Springdale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, watching game shows and soap operas, baking, sewing and enjoyed being around her family especially all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

May is survived by her children: Dennis (Carol) Ringer of West Deer Township, PA and Nancy (Damian) Zurisko of Springdale, PA and 5 grandchildren: Lisa (Regis) Uhric, Jonathan (Beth) Ringer, Anthony (Brigit) Zurisko, Jeffrey (Danielle) Zurisko and Bradley (Angela) Zurisko; 12 great grandchildren: Regis and Trevor Uhric, Hannah,Rachel and Lily Ringer, Molly, Margaret and Anna Zurisko, Luca and Madeline Zurisko and Aubrey and Addison Zurisko and her brother: Floyd “Buzz” Stark.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 67 years: Wilmer F. “Buck” Ringer (December 21, 2013) and her sister: Ruth Raybuck.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 3-7 PM on Monday, April 1, 2024 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA  15065 (724-224-7730), where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday,  April 2, 2024 with her Pastor David Wood, officiating.  Burial will follow at the Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indian Township, PA.  For more information or to leave a condolence please visit www.petersfamilyfuneralhomes.com.
