Maxine E. Peterson

Maxine E. Peterson, 93, died on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Maxine was born on March 5, 1921 in New Kensington, PA to the late Walter Merrick and Grace Peterson Wolfe.  She lived in Plum Borough from 1946 to 1967 when she moved to New Kensington in 1969.  She had worked in general house cleaning at different homes in the area.  She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of New Kensington and she enjoyed her home, family, friends and church.

She is survived by her cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step father: Harry Wolfe and her aunts and uncles.

Family and friends are invited from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Monday, August 11, at the CHURCHFIELD-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 501 Fifth Avenue, New Kensington, PA  15068 (724-335-1951), where services will held at 11 AM on Tuesday with the Reverend Clifford E.
