Margaret C. "Peggy" Marsh, 83, of New Kensington, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, in the Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights, Harrison Township. She was born July 3, 1930, in Kittanning, to William E. and Alma M. (Umbaugh) Kline, and resided in New Kensington all of her life. Peggy was of the Baptist faith and spent her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, word searches and knitting. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (David) Simoni, of Arnold; two grandchildren, Justina (Jimbo) Jackson, of Arnold, and Peter Simoni, of New Kensington; and 5 great-grandchildren, Jorel, James, Elana, Sierra and Alex. In addition to her parents mentioned above, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Marsh; and a brother, Robert Kline. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014, at the CHURCHFIELD-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 501 Fifth Ave., New Kensington, 724-335-1951, where funeral ceremonies will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, with Pastor Don Breghenti officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
