Marcia Marilyn Glassof New Kensington, PAMarcia Marilyn Glass, 75, of New Kensington, died on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at home. Marilyn was born on September 26, 1937 in New Kensington to the late Frank J. and Thelma Elisabeth Wilson Glass. She graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration from Carlow College. She worked as a manager at Westinghouse at RIDC Park and then at the main office in Pittsburgh. After retirement she worked for many years as a tour escort on motor coaches for Thomas Tours. She was of a member and Elder of the United Presbyterian Church of New Kensington. She was an active member of the Pucketos Garden Club. She volunteered at the Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley and the ARK of Learning at the Salvation Army. She enjoyed traveling, reading, theater and she especially loved her cats.She is survived by her sister: Evelyn Kay Glass of New Kensington and her cousins: Diane Baer of Apollo, PA and Linda Smith of Martinsburg, PA. Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 7-9 Friday, April 19, 2013 at the CHURCHFIELD-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 501 Fifth Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15068 (724-335-1951). Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 601 Fifth Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15068 (EVERYONE IS ASKED TO MEET AT THE CHURCH) with the Reverend Colin H. Yuckman, officiating. Burial will follow at Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum Borough.
