Louise Garrison, 100, of Jefferson Township, PA, died on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Concordia Lutheran Homes, Jefferson Township, PA.
Louise was born on October 1, 1912 in Cussewago Township, PA to the late James and Pearl Blystone Harned. She was a graduate of Har-Brack High School class of 1929 and graduated from Edinboro College class of 1931. She was an elementary teacher at Highlands School District retiring in 1972 after 29 years. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Natrona Heights. She enjoyed reading and gardening.
She is survived by 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Lynn B. Garrison (1997); her daughter: Marilyn L. Goldstrom (1999); 3 brothers: Wayne, Chester and Harold Harned; and 4 sisters: Lillian Clinton, Thelma Miller, June and Leona Pountious.
Family and friends are invited from 10 to 11 AM on Monday, May 20 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730), where services will be at 11 AM on Monday with the Reverend Justin Judy, officiating.
