Mrs. Hilda Bailieof Natrona Heights, PAHilda Bailie, 77, of Natrona Heights, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Harmar Village, Harmar Twp.Hilda was born on June 20, 1935 in Harrison Township, PA to the late Charles and Myrtle Steffey Daugherty. She graduated from Har-Brack High School and then Allegheny Valley School of Nursing. She married her high school sweetheart Bill and raised 3 children. She loved her family and was blessed to be with her 3 great granddaughters and all those who called her Grandma Hilda and included her in their lives. She was a member of the Center United Methodist Church, Fawn Township where was very involved with and loved the church activities and her church family. She enjoyed cooking, singing, fishing and caring for others. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, aides and caregivers who helped Hilda over the years, all her friends of Harmar Village who showed compassion and kindness, and all who visited, sent cards and prayed for her.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Judy and Jim Carroll of Natrona Heights and their children: Zach Carroll and Autumn (Dave) Turk and her 3 children: Aubrey, Addison and Avery Turk; Son: William (Pam) Bailie and his children: Brandi and Bill Bailie; and a daughter: Kathy (Mark) Decroo and her son: Nicholas Decroo; her sister-in-laws: Sylvia (Jim) Schubert of Creighton, PA, Arlene (Lou) Hoffman of Florida and Betty Daugherty of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: William Bailie; sister and brother-in-law: Charmayne and Thomas Smith and a brother: Charles Daugherty. Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730). Service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the Center United Methodist Church, 1575 Donnellville Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065, with the Reverend James Ritchie, officiating (EVERYONE IS ASKED TO MEET AT THE CHURCH).
