Judith A. (Linkenheimer) Deskins, 80, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.  Judi “Mam” was born on Wednesday, February 19, 1941 in Harmarville, PA to the late Joseph and Margaret (Dawson) Linkenheimer and was a lifelong resident of the valley.  She graduated from St. Joseph High School class of 1958.  Judi was a Real Estate Agent for more than 20 years.  She was a lifelong member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church of Guardian Angels Parish.  Judi volunteered for Meals on Wheels for more than 30 years.  She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed spending time at her camp on the rivers.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and just loved and adored her grandchildren.  Judi is survived by her children: Cheryl A. Finley (Norm Walters) of Tarentum, PA, Leanne (Don) Hubert of Apollo, PA (formerly of Freeport) and Eric (Denise) Deskins of Fawn Township, PA; 5 grandchildren: Matthew Finley, Aaron (Francine) Deskins, Carly Deskins (Nick Svitek), Dalton (Mali) Hubert and Jesse Hubert; 4 great    grandchildren: Gavin, Conner, Wesley and Parker Rae and a brother: John “Jack” (Karen) Linkenheimer.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years, Larry R. Deskins (6/12/2011) and brothers: Jim and Joe and a sister: Jean. 

Family and friends are invited from 4-6 PM on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730), where a parting prayer service will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, July 12, 2021.
