John B. "Mouse" Stephenson, 63, of Natrona Heights, Harrison Township, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at his residence with his family at his side. He was born Aug. 13, 1950, in Natrona Heights, to the late Jacob W. Jr. "Bill" and Elizabeth (Hazlett) Stephenson and resided in Natrona Heights all of his life. He graduated from Har-Brack in 1968. John belonged to the Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church. Mr. Stephenson was a steel worker for 35 years, having worked in the Caster Department, Brackenridge Works, until retiring in 2010. John enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, fishing, hunting, following all Pittsburgh sports and his back yard pool. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, whom he married June 29, 1974, Constance "Connie" (Presley) Stephenson; two daughters, Sharon (Scott) Fennell, of Tarentum, Sandy (Brian) Jennings, of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; his son, Shane W. Stephenson, of Natrona Heights; his four granddaughters, Grace Fennell, Shaelin Jennings, Brooke Fennell and Tessie Jennings; and his sister, Judy Stephenson, of Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents mentioned above, he was preceded in death by his brothers, J. W. Stephenson III and Gary A. Stephenson. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014, in the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, where funeral ceremonies will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, with the Rev. R. Cameron Malcolm IV officiating.
