John D. Girdano, 85, of Tarentum, PA, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at St. Margaret Hospital.  John was born on Sunday, January 3, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Anthony and Margaret Shields Girdano. He was a member of the Christ Our Hope Anglican Church, Natrona Heights.  John is survived by his children: Lisa A. (Eric) Olson, Elaina (Donald) Hanlon and John Girdano; his partner for life: Virginia Conley; his 5 grandchildren: Daniel Hanlon, Sarah Hanlon, Johnny Girdano, Kelly (Brandon) Palermo and Blake Olson; his 3 great grandchildren: Zakery Hanlon, Gabriel Hanlon and Margot Palermo; and his sister: Mary (Robert) Benzinger.  John was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Anita L. DeMark Girdano (2/15/2014); and his siblings: Anthony Girdano, Robert Girdano, Catherine Dumm, Margaret Hammill and Dolores Miceli.  

Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730).  A service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 11 AM with Father John Bailey, officiating.
