Jean M. (Walker) Hiler

Jean M. (Walker) Hiler, 66, of Plum Borough, PA died suddenly at home on Friday, September 6, 2024. Jean was born in New Kensington, PA on February 15, 1958 to the late Gerald and Mary McCachren Walker.  She graduated from Plum High School, class of 1976 and worked as a Secretary at Watson Standard. Jean was greatly involved with the Logans Ferry Fire Department and she enjoyed camping, traveling on her motorcycle and enjoyed the company of her numerous poodles, the last one being her poodle Dolly.  Jean is survived by her husband of 39 years: Stephen F. Hiler, her brothers: Gerald (Ann) Walker, Jr. of Trafford, PA and James (Pam) Walker of Lower Burrell; and her niece and nephew: Jodi A. (Alan) Levine and Stephen M. Hiler. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday, September 9, 2024 to the CHURCHFIELD-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 5O1 FIFTH Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15068 (724-335-1951), where a service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 10 AM with the Pastor Jonathan Hill, officiating.  Burial will follow at the Armagh Cemetery, Armagh, PA.  For more information or to leave a condolence please visit us at www.petersfamilyfuneralhomes.com.  Logans Ferry Fire Department will be holding a service for Jean at 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
