Janet P. Hill Welling

Janet P. Welling, 87, of Natrona Heights, PA, died on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Platinum Ridge, Brackenridge.  

Janet was born on December 19, 1926, in Natrona Heights to the late John J. Sr. and Pearl M. Stewart Hill. She was a graduate of Har-Brack High School class of 1944. She was a Switchboard Operator at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.  She was a member of the Grace United Church, Natrona Heights where she was a member of the Emory Roberts Sunday School Class.  She was a Girl Scout Leader, a member of the Methodist Women’s Society and she enjoyed traveling and playing cards.

Janet is survived by her husband of 67 years: Frank J. Welling, Sr.; her children: Terry A. Welling of Natrona Heights and Darla Welling Toborkey of South Buffalo Twp., PA

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son: Frank J. Welling, Jr. (2012) and a brother: John J. Hill, Jr.  
          
Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, February 19  to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730), where services will be at 12 PM on Thursday with the Reverend Justin Judy, officiating.
