Jack M. Beigayof Buffalo Township, PAJack M. Beigay, 84, of Buffalo Township, died on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Jefferson Township. Jack was born on October 10, 1927 in New Kensington, PA to the late Gustof and Anna Mae Blucher Beigay. He was a WW II veteran serving in the US Army Air Force. He was a metallurgic and welding engineer for Allegheny Ludlum Research Center retiring after 33 years of service. He was a member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brackenridge. First and foremost Jack loved spending time with his family, especially on the holidays. Jack was an avid golfer. Jack also was passionate about inventing. He invented two board games and also an outdoor lawn golf game. Jack also had several patents associated with Allegheny Ludlum for whom he worked.He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Ann Chernek Beigay; 4 sons: Wayne (Diane) Beigay, David (Cheryl) Beigay, Glenn Michael Beigay and Mark (Rafael) Beigay; a sister: Louise Murray of Monroeville; and his grandchildren: Tricia (Bryan) Dale, Jason Beigay, Michelle Beigay, Stacie Beigay and Megan Beigay.He was preceded in death by his parents; his son: Timothy Beigay; his sisters: Rae, Della, Carmen and Dorothy and his brothers: Robert and Carl.Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730), where a service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday with the Reverend Jerome Panzigrau, officiating.
