Irene s. (Bock) Jack, 102, formerly of Natrona Heights, PA, went peacefully home to be with her Lord  on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Longwood at Oakmont.  Irene was born on Saturday, December 6, 1919 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Joseph and Mary Donaldson Bock. She was a member of the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church of Brackenridge where she was a longtime active member.  Irene enjoyed being with her family, traveling, cards and watching her beloved Pittsburgh sports teams.  She adored dogs from an early age and later found affection for cats when her granddaughter brought one home.  Irene is survived by her daughter: Diane (Jack) Grzybek of Pittsburgh, PA; her granddaughter: Alunda (Jonathan) Edmonds of Mt. Lebanon, PA and her great granddaughter: Veronica Edmonds.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Howard C. Jack (2003); 2 grandchildren: Kyle and Alexandra Grzybek and her siblings: Robert Bock, Margaret “Peggy” Clarke and Carl Bock.

Family and friends are invited from 11 AM to 12 PM on Monday, June 13, 2022 to the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Freeport Road and Morgan Street, Brackenridge, PA  15014 where services will follow at 12 PM with the Fr. Frank Yesko, officiating. Services are under the care of the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730).  Burial will be held at Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights, PA.
