Howard F. Stewart, 94, of Lower Burrell, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Concordia of Cabot, PA.   Howard was born on March 4, 1931 in Verona, PA to the late Howard M. and Lillian Frazier Stewart.  After graduation he went on to serve his country in the Army during the Korean War.  He was a purchasing agent for Visual Industrial Products, an architectural design firm.   Howard was a 70 year member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Brackenridge. He served as head usher and held various offices throughout his years as a member. Howard was also a 53-year member of both the Pollock Lodge #502 and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Coudersport Consistory where he attained the 33rd degree. Howard enjoyed woodworking and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.  Howard is survived by his children: Emily (Tim) Solomon of Clarks Summit and Helen (Michael McCleary) Smedley of Harmony, PA and a granddaughter: Ashleigh (Stephen Yachwak) Solomon.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years: Sara Jean (Dando) Stewart and a brother: George W. Stewart.   

Family and friends are invited from 6-8 PM on Friday, February 13, 2026 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730).  Additional viewing will be from 10 AM – 11 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 847 Tenth Avenue, Brackenridge, PA  15014 where services will follow at 11 AM with the Reverend Zack Bohinski, officiating..  Burial will be held privately at Mars Cemetery, Mars, PA.  For online condolences and more information please visit www.petersfamilyfuneralhomes.com.
