Herman L. Schreckengost, 89, of Fawn Township died at Belair Nursing Home, Lower Burrell, PA on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.  Herman was born in Natrona Heights, PA on Thursday, March 28, 1935 to the late Joshua and Stephania Sekeras Schreckengost.  He worked at Fawn Developer.  He was a member of the Center Methodist Church, Fawn Township, was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed gardening.  Herman is survived by his wife of 65 years: Joy M. (Stull) Schreckengost; his children: Tamara (Tom Brzezinski) Schreckengost of Natrona Heights, PA, Herman L. Schreckengost of Uniontown, PA and Tina Smith of Tarentum, PA; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.   In addition to his parents, Herman was preceded in death by his sons: Joshua G. Schreckengost and Jeffrey Schreckengost; son in law: John Smith; and his siblings: John, Paul, Frank, Steve Sekeras  William and Joseph Schreckengost, Margaret Morrow, Mary Vartawian and Julie Karpinski.

As per Herman’s wishes there will be no public viewing.  Private services and burial were held at Mt.
