Helen G. (Grimm) Beers

Helen G. (Grimm) Beers, 92, formerly of Natrona Heights, PA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Sugar Creek Rest, Worthington, PA.  

Helen was born in Sarver, PA on Wednesday, February 24, 1926 to the late Oliver William and Anna A. Petsinger Grimm. She worked as a sales clerk for 20 years at both the D & K department store and Fanny Farmers Candy Shop both located in the Heights Plaza.  Helen was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Natrona Heights and the Natrona Heights VFW and the Brackenridge American Legion and enjoyed doing crafts.

Helen is survived by her children Melvin K. “Jerry” (Susan) Beers of Brackenridge, PA, Carol J. (Thomas) Ward of Kittanning, PA and David A. (Phyllis) Beers of Frederick, MD; 3 Grandchildren: Sean K. (Chrissy) Beers, Jon (Jamie) Beers and Samantha Beers; 2 great grandchildren: Madison and Tucker Beers and 2 great great grandchildren: Emory and Avery and a brother: Ralph Grimm of Marietta, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Melvin C. Beers (April 2, 2005) and 10 brothers and sisters.

Family and friends are invited from 12-2 PM on Monday, December 10, 2018 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730), where services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday with her pastor the Reverend Dr. Andrew Spore, officiating.  Private burial will follow at Mt.
