Harry Joseph Waldschmidt, IIIof Natrona Heights, PAHarry Joseph Waldschmidt, III, 72, of Natrona Heights, PA, died on Friday, April 2, 2010 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.Mr. Waldschmidt was born on Saturday, September 18, 1937 in Aspinwall, PA to the late Harry Joseph and Mae Rabanus Waldschmidt, II. He retired as a steel worker for American Bridge and then continued employment and retired a second time from Laroche College. He was a member of the Faith Community Church in Freeport. He loved his family, sports and was a top notch pitcher in his day. He will be sadly missed.He is survived by his wife: Therese M. 'Terry' Belsito Waldschmidt; his four children: Barry Joseph Waldschmidt, Gary Martin (Betsy Beers) Waldschmidt, Susan (Byron) Waldschmidt Chertik and Larry William Waldschmidt; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Janet Hartz and Carol Stressning and a brother: Daniel (Nora) Waldschmidt. Family and friends are invited from 6-9 PM on Tuesday to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730). A memorial service followed by a luncheon will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Faith Community Church, 407 Freeport Road, Freeport, PA 16229, with the Reverend Chuck Edwards, officiating.
