Dear Shirley,
We were shocked to open our mail and hear of Jerry's death. He was a fine man and a wonderful Pastor. We have many fond memories, including especially driving through a blizzard . . . he must have had an angel on shoulder guiding him through the snow that night! I'll be in touch soon.

Shirley and Joel we are so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I know that he will be terribly missed by so many but as much as you both. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are here for if you need anything give us a call. Jerry was such a great guy and wonderfully loyal man and friend.

I'm glad to have counted Gerry as a friend and fellow volunteer with our Scout Troop 186. I got to know him and his quiet, humble presence during many meetings and outings. He was a role model to all and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. I'll be in Cleveland on the day of the memorial service, but know that Dan and I will be thinking about Gerry, Joel and the family.

So sad to hear the news of Gerry's passing. Troop #186 was a better place with the contributions that Gerry brought at the many activities and functions.
