George N. Wise, Sr., 60, of Brackenridge, PA died on Friday, February 16, 2018 at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
George was born on May 13, 1957 in Natrona Heights to the late Charles and Geneva Prager Wise. He was a graduate of Highlands High School Class of 1975. He was an Iron Worker for the Union. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Natrona Heights. He was a certified scuba diver and a member of the Pioneer Hose Company in Brackenridge, the P.N.A. and the Boom Boom Club both in Natrona. He enjoyed working on cars and building model cars.
George is survived by his children: George N. Wise, Jr. of Tarentum, Katie (Justin) Hunter of Germany, Dana (Shane) Chesher of Natrona, Charles Wise of Brackenridge and Jack Wise of Lower Burrell; his grandchildren: Clayton, Olivia, Silas, Atlas, Shayla, Emmalyna, Brooklyn, Vincent and Blake plus a baby girl on the way; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Oakley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
Family and friends are invited from 6-8 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730), where a funeral service will immediately follow at 8 PM with the Rev. Nick Chybrzynski, officiating. Burial will be private.
