Gary R. Miller

of New Kensington, PA

Gary R. Miller, 64, of New Kensington, PA, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at home. 

Gary was born January 24, 1951 in Natrona Heights, PA to the late George and Eleanor Wargo Miller.    He was a veteran serving in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked for 29 years as a Shipper/Receiver at PPG in Creighton.  He was a member of the Slovak American Club of Tarentum where he took part in the euchre league and a member of the American Slovak Club in Creighton. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.   

Gary is survived by his wife of 44 years:  Andrea L. Cannassa Miller;  his 3 sons: Erik S. (Jennifer) Miller of Lower Burrell, PA, Kristopher A. (Elaina Santello) Miller of Arnold, PA and Matthew M. (Jamie) Miller of Arnold, PA; 4 grandchildren: Anthony, Marissa, Ronald and Kristiona; 1 great grandson: Alexander; a sister: Janice (Daniel) Hiwiller of Cheswick, PA and several nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

At the family’s request there will be no public visitation. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the CHURCHFIELD-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 501 Fifth Avenue, New Kensington, PA  15068 (724-335-1951).
