Mrs. Frances E. Geiserof Tarentum, PAFrances E. Geiser, 92, of Tarentum, PA, left our earthly world and went to see Jesus on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights, PA, surrounded by her loving family.Mrs. Geiser was born on June 26, 1917 to the late Raymond and Sara Seibert Huston and was a life-long resident of the area. Frances was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and church activities. She was soft-spoken and strived each day to live a Christian life. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Tarentum. She was also a 50 year member of the Eastern Star.She is survived by her children: Malvene (Anthony) Arvay of Arnold, PA and James (Patti) Geiser of Tarentum, PA; 7 grandchildren: Richard (Jeannie) Lippert, Chad (Jodi) Lippert, both of Lower Burrell, Amanda (Justin) Holmes of Tarentum, Jessica Geiser of Gibsonia and Jamie Geiser of Hagerstown, MD, Kara Walsh and Kelly Geiser; 6 great grandchildren: Brady, Austin, Mackenzie and Taylor Lippert and Ronnie and Kaelyn Geiser; 3 sisters: Marjory Blackburn of Sarver, Clara Harbison of Saxonburg and Myrna Huston of Brackenridge; and her sister-in-law: Julia Huston of Saxonburg.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: William J. Geiser on June 18, 1987; her son: Ronald D. Geiser on June 19, 1999; and a brother: William Huston in 1989. Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730). Services will follow at 11 AM on Tuesday at the First United Presbyterian Church, PO Box 2, 913 Lock Street, Tarentum, PA 15084 (EVERYONE IS ASKED TO MEET AT THE CHURCH) with the Reverend Philip A. Beck, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, PA. The Eastern Star will meet at the funeral home at 7:30 PM.
