Floyd “Buzz” Stark,90, of Fawn Township, PA, died on Friday, June 21, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. Floyd was born on Monday, October 2, 1933 in Tarentum, PA to the late Jesse and Bertha Anderson Stark. He was a graduate of the Tarentum High School class of 1951. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Floyd owned and operated the J.P. Stark and Son of Fawn Township, a third-generation family business and enjoyed going to work with his son until his passing. He was a member of the Millerstown United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Floyd is survived by his children: Carol Onifer of Clinton Twp., PA; Terri Devereaux of Swisshelm Park, PA; and Ronald Stark of Fawn Twp., PA; 6 grandchildren: Nathan Terrill, Andrew “Jay” Onifer, Nicole Onifer Mannas, P. Stephen Devereaux and Ryan Devereaux; and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Jean M. (Thiemann) Stark, a granddaughter: Angela Heitzer and 2 sisters: Agnes May Ringer and Ruth Raybuck.
Friends are invited from 2-4 and 6-8 on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730) where services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM with the Reverend Darlene Ryniec presiding.
