Florence I. Horning, 92, of Cabot, PA, died on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Concordia Lutheran Home, Cabot, PA.

Florence was born on November 8, 1922 in Freeport, PA to the late Romano and Margaret Trettel Crestani.  She was a graduate of Freeport High School and Grove City College. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cabot.  She enjoyed reading and especially being with her family.

She is survived by her children: Michael (Ellen) Horning of Pembroke Pines, FL, Mark (Bonnie) Horning of Timonium, MD and Dr. Margaret (Dr. John Charley) Horning of Pittsburgh, PA; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and her brother: Robert Crestani of Santa Monica, CA.

In addition to her parents,  she was preceded in death by her husband: Louis J. Horning who she was married to for 68 years before he passed away on September 4, 2012 and her 2 sisters: Erma Vinante and Anne Pesci.
