Evelyn L. (Romack) Smith, 92, of Lower Burrell, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Evelyn was born on Thursday, April 10, 1930 in Curtisville, PA to the late Harry and Rose Mauer Romack.  She was a graduate of West Deer High School. She was a member of the Puckety Presbyterian Church. Evelyn volunteered with the Meals on Wheels program and enjoyed camping, gardening, cooking and baking and especially loved spending time with her family.  She is survived by her sons: Mark Smith of Lower Burrell, PA and Gary (Kathy) Smith of Leechburg, PA; her grandchildren: Ryan (Melissa) Smith of Lower Burrell and Elizabeth (Corey Hepler) Smith of Gilpin, PA; her great grandchildren: Brian, Gianna, Ryleigh, Maisy Leigh, Katie, Cody, Nico, Kaley and Cory; her siblings: Dorothy Smith of Fawn Township, PA, Harry Romack of Curtisville, PA and Roseanne French of Lower Burrell, PA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: John A. Smith (Nov. 1, 1990) and by her siblings: Ann Pazack, Mary Berecin, Agnes Gaspero, Thomas Romack, Elizabeth Shields, Katherine Sabatini and Joyce Devando.
