Elsie Emily Karan, 88, of Natrona Heights, PA died on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at St. Margaret Hospital, Aspinwall, PA.  She was born on December 12, 1937 in Brackenridge, PA to the late Edwin Joseph and Georgia Lorraine Montgomery Rehner.  Elsie was formerly employed at Gee Bee and Value City in Natrona Heights.  She was also the primary caretaker to her husband Steve and she enjoyed baking.

Elsie is survived by her children: James (Mary Beth) Karan of Brackenridge and David Karan of Ohio; her grandsons: Timothy Karan, Scott (Kayla) Karan, Jake (Kelsie) Karan and 2 great grandchildren: McKenzie Karan and Nolan Karan and her sisters: Margee and Alma and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband: Steve Karan, her sister: Dorothea Ambrose, her daughter in law: Janice Karan and her infant granddaughter: Hannah Karan.

Private burial will take place at Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights, PA.
