Edward Charles Scovern, 69, of Sarver, PA, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, March 21, 2022.  Eddie was born on January 21, 1953 in Natrona Heights, PA to the late Edward and Jane Digirolamo Scovern and was a 1971 graduate of Highlands High School. He went on to serve his country in the US Navy.  He was a graduate of Penn Tech and had a long career with Consolidated Communications in Wexford, PA.  He Loved the outdoors, enjoying canoeing, golfing, trap shooting and was always up for an adventure.  He was an avid Steelers fan! Ed was always there to support and help everyone he knew.  Ed is survived by his wife of 38 years: Karen; his brothers: Larry (Michele) Scovern of Hamilton, VA and Ken (Denise) Scovern of Sarver, PA and his sister: Cathy (Craig) Bero of Cranberry Township, PA, many nieces and nephews and one great great nephew.

Family and friends are invited to meet the family on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 817 South Pike Road, Sarver, PA  16055.  A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 25th at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with the Bishop Brandon Bodily, officiating.  Burial will be private.  Funeral arrangements are under of the care of the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730).  For more information or to leave a condolence please visit www.petersfamilyfuneralhomes.com.  In lieu of flower, if so desired please bring a small perennial plant for a memorial garden.
