Ed worked for Don Martin Trucking, dug graves for Prospect Cemetery as a self-employed Backhoe Operator and retired from Harrison Twp., Water Authority . Ed peacefully transitioned to eternal rest on Friday, June 29, 2012. Beloved husband for 32 years of Joyce A.; Children, Diane L. (Wray) DeLarme , Cheryl (Leroy) Young, Ginger (Bill) Downing; Step-Children Beverly Marshall (late), Linda Marshall (Walt) Dawson, Sally (late husband Mike) Hutchison, Joseph C. Marshall (late), Brenda (Scott) Henwood, Donald P (Dina) Marshall. Grandfather of 14 children and Great Grandfather of 9 children. Siblings, Ralph (Shirley)Jenkins, David (Marilyn) Jenkins, Phyllis (Lou) Poteet (late), Marilyn Jenkins (late), Delores (Norm) Pittman, Patty (Jack)Covert, Judy (Chuck) Martin, James (Marylou) Jenkins (late), Betty (Buck) Rodgers (late); nephews and nieces; and a host of cousins and friends. Ed was a long time member of United Methodist Church of Vandergrift. Ed served meals on wheels and was an avid bowler and also worked at West Arms as a transporter in Apollo, PA. Ed enjoyed sporting events, traveling and NASCAR. Friends will be received Sunday from 5-8 at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights PA 15065. Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 409 Sarver Road, Sarver PA 16055 (EVERYONE IS ASKED TO MEET AT THE CHURCH) with the Reverend Emory L.
