of Templeton, PA

Donald B. Jones, 72, of Templeton, PA, died at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Donald was born in Butler, PA on Wednesday, March 2, 1949 to the late Wendel and Dorothy Kaufman Jones. Donald served 6 years with the Airforce Reserve and then retired with 23 years of service with the Army National Guard. Donald worked for 5 years with the L.C.B. and as a policeman for the City of Butler retiring after 23 years of service. Donald is survived by his wife of 34 years: Trish Wessel Jones; his children: Doug (Erin) Jones and Beth Maddix; 2 grandchildren: Owen and Steven Maddix; his siblings: Chris Jones, T.J. Jones and Judy (Harpo) Rogers and his brother -in-law: Todd Wessel. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Sam Jones.
