Dominic J. Seita

Dominic J. (Dom) Seita, 90, of Natrona Heights, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born on March 11, 1923 in Freeport, PA to the late Carlo and Teresa Seita Seita. Dom graduated from Freeport High School in 1941 and The Western PA Horological Institute in 1948. Dom served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He was a watch maker and founded Seita Jewelers in Tarentum in 1951. He was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. Dom was also a member of the Tarentum Elk’s Club, VFW in Natrona Heights and loved to dance and spend time with his family and friends and his cat Tussy.
Dom is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ruth Schriver Seita of Natrona Heights; a son: William (Bette) Seita of Fawn Township; 3 daughters: Laura Lojak of Lower Burrell, Sandi (Curt) Marino of Lower Burrell, and Carla (Mark) Guinta of Palm Beach Gardens Florida. Dom is also survived by five Grandchildren: Edward and Ryan Lojak of Fawn Township, Nicole Moret of Blawnox, Krista Marino of Lower Burrell, and Rod Seita of Apollo, one Great Granddaughter: Grace Seita of Apollo. Dom is also survived by two step sons, David (Elizabeth) Alexander from Fredericksburg, VA, and Charles (Tammy) Smith of Tarentum, and his step grandchildren: Michael Smith of Tarentum, Heatherlee (Ryan) Sittler of Hunker, PA, Kathleen Alexander of Fredericksburg, VA, Kimberly (William) Resenic of Indiana, PA and Jon-Michael (Jennifer) Snoderly of West Deer Twp., PA.
Dom was predeceased by his parents; his brother: Charles Seita; 2 sisters: Rena Zana and Mary Fassio; a granddaughter: Jessica Lojak and a step son: John Snoderly.
Family and friends are invited from 7-9 PM on Saturday (Nov. 30) and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday (Dec. 1) to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730), where a blessing services will be at 11 AM on Monday with the Reverend James K.
