Cindy Kay Jones, 70, of Washington Township, PA died peacefully at home, after a lengthy illness, with family and friends consistently by her side showing their love and support.  Cynthia was born on May 7, 1953 in Shadyside and was a graduate of Kiski Area High School and a lifelong resident of Washington Township.  Cindy retired in 2017 from Kroff Chemical Company, Pittsburgh, where she was a dedicated employee for 25 years.   Cindy is survived by her loving sister, Donna Doyle.  Cindy was also a cherished Aunt to her nieces: Tracy (Jeffrey) Zourelias, Marci (Donald) Oliver, Nora (James) Shaner and a nephew the Honorable Jason R. Silvis; Great Nephew: Kevin (Keira) Harner and Great Nieces: Kayla (Cory) Swarmer, Katlynn (Titus Umandap) Oliver, Samantha (Nicholas) Amatucci, Jonathon Oswalt and Finn Shaner; 3 great great nephews and one great great niece.  Cindy was preceded in death by her parents: J. Roy and Hazel A. (Dickson) Jones and her beloved dog: Sweetie.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Union Presbyterian Church, 656 State Route 380, Murrysville, PA  15668 with the Reverend Bob Ruefle, officiating.  A luncheon will follow the service.  Burial will be private.
