Charlotte M. Coxof New Kensington, PACharlotte M. 'Babe' Cox, 96, of New Kensington, PA. Died on Friday, June 29, 2012 at UPMC-St. Margaret Hospital, Aspinwall. Babe was born on December 16, 1915 in New Kensington, PA to the late Harry and Grace McClain Graham. She lived all her life in the New Kensington and Springdale area. She was a graduate of New Ken High School class of 1933. She worked as a manager at the Plaid Stamp Redemption Center in Lower Burrell till she retired in 1974. Prior to that she had worked at PPG in Creighton, Glenshaw Glass Company and the Top Value Stamp Redemption Center as manager in New Kensington. She attended the St. Andrews Anglican Church of New Kensington. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, sewing and traveling always saying 'If the bus is ready-I'm ready to go'. Her most prized possession was her family. She is survived by her children: Sherry Klingensmith of New Kensington, Darlene Kelly of Sulphur, LA and Marlene (Richard) Townsend of Avonmore, PA; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren many great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: William D. Cox; her step son: James Maunder; her brother: John Graham and her sister: Cora West. There will be no public visitation.
